The video recorder for real estate agents

Read your script while you look at the lens, redo just the room you stumbled in, and post a captioned video to Reels, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube the same day. No app to install, nothing uploaded.

Step by step: record a listing video

  1. Pick a real estate script. Open Script, then Ready-made scripts, and choose New listing, Just sold, Open house or Market update. Fill in the address, price and details.
  2. Record room by room. Each # section is its own take: the hook at the door, then the kitchen, the bedrooms and the call to book a showing. Stumble in the kitchen? Redo just the kitchen.
  3. Addresses and prices spelled right. Captions come from your script, so the street name, the price and your name are exactly as you typed them. No transcript to fix.
  4. Post it everywhere. One take gives you 9:16 for Reels and TikTok, 4:5 for the Facebook and Instagram feed and 16:9 for YouTube and your listing page.

Why agents use ClippCut

  • Captions spelled exactly right. Transcription tools guess at street names, prices and your own name. ClippCut makes captions from your script, so “418 Maple Ave” and “$425,000” appear as you typed them.
  • Redo one room, not the whole tour. Each # section of the script is its own take. Fluff the kitchen? Record the kitchen again; the rest stays.
  • Scripts written for agents. New listing, just sold, open house, market update, meet your agent, buyer and seller tips, neighborhood spotlight and client stories, ready to fill in.
  • One take, every feed. 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 4:5 for the Instagram and Facebook feed, 16:9 for YouTube and your website, all from the same recording (Pro).
  • Works on the phone you already carry. Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android, or a laptop at your desk. It keeps working at a showing with no signal.
  • Your clients' homes stay on your device. Takes aren't uploaded anywhere. You share the finished MP4 when you're ready.

A listing video in four steps

  1. Open the new listing script and fill in the address, price and best features.
  2. Choose By section, stand at the front door and record the hook. ClippCut stops at the end of each section and moves to the next room.
  3. In Review, check each part, redo any section, and let ClippCut cut the pauses (Pro).
  4. Save every shape you need and share it straight to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or YouTube, or download the MP4 for your listing page.

Your name and brokerage on screen

Many states require the brokerage name in advertising, and it helps viewers remember you. Every real estate script ends with your name and brokerage, so they're in the captions. For a designed name banner, the Graphics studio makes a lower third with your name on one line and your brokerage on the second, and puts it onto your video (export is Pro).

Free to start

Recording with the prompter, by-section recording, practice runs and Pop captions are free. Free videos are 720p, up to 60 seconds, with a small ClippCut mark: enough for a just-sold post or an open house invite. $8 for 30 days or $49 a year removes the mark and adds 1080p, 5-minute takes, every shape from one take and jump cuts. No subscription that renews on its own, and no credits to run out.

Questions

Is ClippCut made for real estate?

ClippCut is a teleprompter video recorder for anyone who talks to camera. It includes ten scripts written for agents and a real estate section with guides for listing videos, market updates and fair housing in video.

Can I film a listing tour while walking through the house?

Yes. Record each room as its own section with the phone in your hand or on a gimbal. The prompter shows the lines for that room, and you can redo any room without re-recording the others.

Will the captions get the address right?

Yes. Captions come from your script, not from listening, so addresses, prices, street names and your name are spelled exactly as you wrote them.

Do I need to upload client homes to a server?

No. ClippCut records and edits on your phone or computer. Nothing is uploaded until you choose to share the finished video.

How long can a video be?

Up to 60 seconds on the free plan and 5 minutes with Pro. Recording by section joins the parts into one video.
