Compare
How ClippCut compares with the teleprompters inside Instagram and TikTok.
When the built-in teleprompter is enough, and when it isn’t
Instagram and TikTok now include a teleprompter in their cameras. For a quick video posted straight to that one app, it may be all you need. ClippCut is for the steps around the recording: redoing one section instead of the whole take, cutting pauses, captions spelled exactly as written, and getting one video ready for TikTok, Reels, Shorts and LinkedIn at once.
What to compare
- Can you fix one line without re-recording everything?
- Are captions correct the first time, or do you have to fix a transcript?
- Can the same video go to every platform, in each one’s shape?
- Do you keep the file, or does it live only inside one app?
- Can you add your own graphics, such as a score card, a lower third or a callout that follows a player? ClippCut’s Graphics studio does; the apps’ cameras don’t.
Using both
Many creators do both: quick replies and trends straight in the app, and planned videos (tips, product demos, explainers) in ClippCut, where the script, captions and every shape come from one recording. ClippCut gives you an ordinary MP4, so you can still post it in the app and add its music, stickers and effects there.
